In light of our many challenges, a sincere faith in Christ regularly requires spiritual renewal. Knowing how to replenish our souls with the gifts God has given is foundational to thriving as followers of Christ.
Paul begins his letter to Timothy with a greeting that immediately emphasizes the “promise of life in Christ Jesus,” a promise that is at the heart of the gospel. This transformational union with Jesus Christ gives believers a genuine relationship with God and the gifts needed to thrive in our life with Him. In light of our many challenges, a sincere faith regularly requires spiritual renewal.
